Thank you for the wonderful conference this morning at 8:00 a.m. . I learned more from you in one hour than I have in a while. You are my new hero! Looking forward to seeing if I can get own of your tech. camps into my schedule this summer. Being that I am not to far (Michigan), I might be able to make it work.
Thanks for the welcome. I stumbled across your ning while I was looking for a similar one that we set up for a similar class! We did a 2 day tech camp for school librarians last week and their ning is at: http://librarytechcamp.ning.com/
Meg, I'm a little confused. Is this a class? When did it start? Are there a guidelines? If this is a class, I think I need to come in at the beginning.
What do you think of using this as a research medium? I am planning to begin an investigation into student identity transformation to "teacher" this fall. I thought this might make a great place for ethnography...personal journals, etc. because it can be blocked and due to the variety of resources available. Your thoughts...
Meg,
Thanks so much for the friend request. I work at a university teaching future teachers. This process looks to be extremely helpful to both them and me.

Meg--Thanks for missing me, the surprise anniversary was great and so was the week spent babysitting the grandchildren. I am home again and I am pursuing the green screen software (one that actually works!!) I'll be in touch.
Meg, I showed my video to the gal next door that is recovering from the brain anyurism . She gave me the idea for child abuse. As we were watching it her little girl (dian knows her) said, I'm going down stairs and make a movie. Of course I asked her what software she was using and she said Microsoft Movie Maker.. OK so an 8 year old can do this! Now I know who to go to this weekend as I TRY to make another movie!
Lino,
Hello to you in Portugal! Thank you for sharing the tools you are using in your classroom, I share your passion for teaching and learning. Tomorrow is my last day of a week long tech camp, and I LOVE NING!! It has changed teh way I think about teaching adults. As oon as I grade everyone's work, I will be back to share more!!
Hi Meg I would like to thank you for this friend request.
I appreciate de discussion you began at Classroom 2.0.
So I am excited following your work.

Meg, you asked about Rowan's breeder, He doesn't have a website, but his name is Rich Ward, they are in La Moille IL. I can give you a number if you really want it. My trainer thought Rowan's parents might have come from a breeder in southern IL called Top Brass. http://www.topbrass-retrievers.com/ . I have thought about getting a second dog, if I did it would probably be a rescue dog, one puppy was enough for me, and there are so many good dogs in shelters. :-(
Your boys are so handsome...And your husband (At least I guessed he was your husband) in the winery...what great setting for your photo.
I love the look of determination on your son as he pitches. I was just at the 8 year old grandson's game last night and he has that same look as he pitches, Aren't kids fun??
Hi Meg, I went on a little mini vacation last night in sl.. Thought you would enjoy the pics... I will post them on the main page along with the one from your house..
Just in from my Twitter network that this notes section will act like a wiki, I am here to investigate and think about how I can use this as part of tech camp.
